Gold series cartridges are the Top performers in Aidas cartridges portfolio. Their uniqueness are of different body materials and 24kt pure Gold coils, which sound very natural and detailed.
The Aidas Gold cartridges are available in 2 different bodies: Tru-stone Blue River Agate and Mammoth tusk (pictured).
Mammoth Gold is the newest and most advanced of Aidas’s cartridges, made with ivory from 21,000 year old Siberian wooly mammoth tusks.

Aidas Gold PL phono cartridges come in 3 different body materials: Tru-stone Gold web (pictured), Black African Gabon wood, and Brazilian Purpleheart wood. The bodies are slightly different in mass and damping properties, which makes them unique in sonic profile. Both wood types have excellent sonic properties. Tru-stone Gold web is a unique beautiful black artificial stone with gold powder inserted in the form of web. Tru Stone consists of more than 85% actual stone.

Aidas Svazas is the author and the producer of Aidas cartridges. Based in Lithuania, Aidas brings experience in repairing and producing cartridges that extends back to the 1990s. Aidas began repairing and improving phono cartridges with more precision and quality than that of original cartridges from other well-known manufacturers. This process led to the development of the first Aidas cartridge, the AS-1, back in 2010. Special techniques were developed that allowed the company to improve the suspension, core geometry, and coils of existing models, which in turn resulted in better tracking and, ultimately, superior sonic qualities.
Sonics have been improved in each new model, with the latest MC cartridge lineup dating from 2020. Exceptional dynamic range, precision, and low distortion define the current line. All Aidas cartridges share the same unique generator and dual-suspension technology, differing in body and coil materials.
