Oscar Series
Marten created the Oscar series to meet customer demand for a more affordably-priced Marten speaker, without sacrificing the brand’s award-winning sound and build quality.
To accomplish this aim Marten went back to the drawing board, keeping the same Marten sound, they designed brand new drivers; allowing more control of the details and the ability to re-design the build to achieve value as astonishing as the sound.

Parker Series
Marten’s Parker series is a step up in design. All of the drivers are custom-designed, allowing Marten to have absolute control of the build quality.
Cabinet construction is greatly improved, rendering it nearly resonance-free, aided by the exclusively-designed Marten pucks. The result is a crystal clear soundstage.
The newly multi-diverse crossover technique allows these elements to work in absolute harmony.

Mingus Series
The Marten Mingus series owes much of its early development to the Coltrane series, with the flagship Coltranes inspiring many design decisions, notably the use of diamond drivers.
However, the Mingus series really has come into its own. With the release of Mingus Septet in 2023, this series is very much a force to be reckoned with, leading Marten in new design directions. The inclusion of more custom drivers, specifically for Mingus Septet, is part of Marten’s ever-evolving design strategy.

Coltrane Series
Every Coltrane model is a testament to Marten’s pursuit of truth in sound, delivering music in its most natural and powerful form. Each speaker in the Coltrane series is built with purpose. From the new dual-tower flagship to the refined smaller models, Coltranes share a foundation of custom-built drivers, precision first-order crossovers and advanced cabinet design.
Whether it is the unrivaled presence of Coltrane Supreme Extreme, or the harnessed power of Coltrane Quintet, each model offers phenomenal control, clarity, and resolution. Built by hand using the highest quality materials, this series is for those listeners who demand nothing less than the very best.

Music has always been the driving force for Marten, a company that holds music as the greatest emotive art. By accurately reproducing sound, Marten makes moments that move you. Their speakers are made for discerning listeners, those who want to hear into the soul of the music, who want to experience it in their hearts as well as their ears.
Family
Music in Marten’s blood. Marten was founded by Leif Mårten Olofsson in Sweden in 1998, but the story goes back much further. In the early 1900s, Leif’s grandfather, Josef Olofsson, built violins using Stradivarius as a benchmark—a Stradivarius that was played by Mårten Larsson, his maternal grandfather.
In the 1970s, Leif built his first speakers, a pursuit which he was keenly interested in from an early age.
From the first speaker, Mingus, the product range has grown into five series, a recording studio and a record label. The company was born out of passion and has grown steadily, gaining success and respect worldwide.
Marten is still a family business today, run by Leif and his brothers, Jörgen and Lars Olofsson.
